Carrying around your hoard during a convention can be heavy and tiring. At the Dragon Dropoff, you can store your collection so you are free to roam and hunt for new shiny things! You are free to access your box throughout the days to put more items in, exchange items out, or pick everything up for the evening.

Each box is made from sturdy cardboard and comes with a lid and handle-holes. They measure about 16 x 12 x 10 inches, which offers a good amount of space to store multiple books, collectibles, maybe even a coat or pack.

You will select which shelf level you would like to have your box(es) on. Please, if you are an able-bodied person, consider using the bottom or top shelves. Especially if you are tall please order the top shelf. This will help our less-abled friends utilize the service better! Please see the third image in this listing for a visual guide in shelf heights.

Level 1 - Bottom (about 4" - 18" height)

Level 2 - Knees (about 18" - 32" height)

Level 3 - Chest (about 32" - 46" height)

Level 4 - Shoulder/Head (about 46" - 60" height)

Level 5 - Top (about 60" height)

HOW TO USE THE SERVICE

When we first open on December 3, please line up at the SIDE of the booth, near the Dropoff area . Units will be assigned by First Arrived First Numbered, based on which shelf level you purchased. You must show us your order confirmation email, or provide us the name associated with your order so we can mark off your pickup. You will receive up to FOUR badge stickers for party members to have access to your box.

ONLY TWO PARTY MEMBERS MAY ACCESS THE DROPOFF AREA AT THE SAME TIME.

Once you've accessed your box and deposited what you want to store, please place the lid back on and return it to its spot on the shelf. Your box MUST be able to close completely to keep your items safe, and other customers as well. You may not place anything under, on top of, or next to your box. ALL ITEMS MUST FIT IN THE BOX.

We highly recommend that you pick up your items at the end of each convention day. The Vendor Hall closes at 7 PM, so please show up at least 30 minutes before closing so you have plenty of time to grab your items. Bringing your items back to your hotel room each day is the best way to guarantee your treasures are safe overnight, and also gives you the evening to check out all your goodies. Daily pickup is not required. However, all items MUST be picked up by 6 PM on December 5, the last day of the convention. THE DROPOFF IS AVAILABLE ONLY BETWEEN 10 AM & 7 PM OF EACH CONVENTION DAY.

HOW DOES PRE-ORDERING WORK?

Simply place your order online here, and then save your order email for reference at the convention. Pre-ordering locks you in at the discounted rate.

During Dragonsteel Nexus 2026, you'll show your store order number at the convention and we will match you to the next available numbered unit on your selected shelf height. We will provide you with a number sticker for your badge so you don't forget which bin is yours! We might be offering an early box number pickup this year! It would be on December 2. We will inform you if that becomes an option!

HOW DOES IT WORK IF I ORDER AT THE CONVENTION?

You will be able to order a box through our in-person checkout system, and you will be paired with the next available Numbered Box. You'll pay at the Dragon Woodshop convention booth. Price will be $65.

WHAT IF I FORGET MY BOX NUMBER?

We can help remind you by looking up your order number and connecting box number, but the sticker on your badge should be enough.

WHAT CAN I DROP OFF?

You can leave anything from books to prints, collectibles to other small items. Large items like weaponry and armor won't be allowed unless it can completely fit inside your bin. Backpacks and coats are allowed as long as they fit in the box. Food is also allowed but coolers or heaters will not be provided.

WHAT IF I FORGET MY STUFF?

If you do not pick up your items by the end of the final day of the convention, you will still have a chance to pick them up until the end of December 6th at our hotel room in Hyatt Regency. You will be charged an extra $25 fee for this. If you still have not picked up your items by 10 PM on December 6th, all items will be donated.

Basically, PLEASE DO NOT FORGET YOUR STUFF.

OTHER NOTES OF IMPORTANCE

Your order will be marked as fulfilled because this is a service ticket only. All you need to do is keep your email that shows your Order Number, or be able to provide the information we need to double-check your order such as an ID.

If you do not utilize the service at the convention, you will not be refunded.

Dragon Woodshop is not insuring your goods. If any items are stolen, damaged, or lost, it is not the duty of Dragon Woodshop to reimburse you. Convention security is considered very professional so all items held at the Dropoff should be safe. We have been running the Dropoff for three conventions now, and there have never been any thefts or issues.
